My A110GT is 2 years old this week so has 1 more year of original warranty left.
I've asked my local dealer for quotes for an extended warranty and they are offering a 1 year extension for £325, 2 year £565, 3 year £880 and 4 year £1250.
I'm going for the 4 year option, I'm not planning to modify my car, except maybe some Like110 springs if mine break and am planning to keep it long-term.
But if I do decide to sell it after 5 years it will still have 2 years of proper warranty on it.

Be careful. Alpine only (used to?) allow an extended warranty to be purchased before the car is 12 months old. This caught me out and I appealed to Alpine UK who allowed my purchase due to only being a month over.
If your dealer is offering a Warranty at two years old - check it’s the genuine Alpine one. For the record, although the paperwork was thin with the Alpine extended warranty, I never had any issues with claims that were sorted very efficiently through dealer and Alpine UK.
With a limited production vehicle like Alpine, I felt the warranty was a good investment, and in my case was a good decision.

I bought my extended warranty at 3 years, when the original warranty ran out. Agree it was a one-time option though, you could do 1, 2 or 3 years, but not extend further. I think I've had my moneys worth from it - at £1k-ish for 3 years (at the time) it's about as cheap as any warranties get. I have AST suspension fitted but that didn't prevent them doing rear toe links under the extended warranty.

My story is based on EU, not UK. One of the European dealers reported me the same that you can only purchase the extended warranty in the first year of ownership. Since I wasn't aware of this 1 year limitation. I happen to miss it. Now searching for a dealer to offer it in the 2nd year of the ownership.

That's good to know, I haven't any current plans to modify mine but was a little worried that a modification in one area might negate the whole warranty.Sounds as if Alpine are sensible about this.
One thing I forgot to mention is that the mileage limit is 60,000 miles, shouldn't be a problem for me, I'm currently averaging 6000 miles per year so should still have plenty of headroom even after 7 years.

I would imagine this being difficult for other EU countries since UK is not part of EU anymore. But if somebody in some EU country would like to purchase an extended warranty from another EU country, that should be valid across EU if it is an "official" Alpine warranty. Another question is how willing the dealers would be to sell the warranty for a person from other country if they have not bought the car from them. Dealers are selling the extended warranty, but in that country the warranty is actually honored by Alpine itself.
Maybe on the condition for the cars registered in a country without Alpine network dealers can offer extended warranty services. Who knows maybe they don't care Alpine's existence on another country because for a dealer a car is identified by the VIN not the plate.

An Alpine warranty on cars registered in EU should be valid on all EU countries. It is not dependent on the dealer where you bought the car. That should also apply to an extended Alpine warranty bought from any EU country. Dealers are selling the extended warranty, but in that country the warranty is actually honored by Alpine itself.

I've had other brand cars bought from other EU countries and haven't had any problems using their warranty in my EU home country.
