Driving up the M6 the other day in my new to me A110 and i found that there is a terrible blind spot in the near side mirror. Oddly, the offside has a blind spot curve to it but the near side is a bog standard flat mirror.

I expect the previous owner has probably replaced the near side mirror, or Alpine set all cars up the same ie for LHD!

Has anyone else found the same? I can’t find any other threads on the topic.

I think the mirror glass is common with the Clio 1 (98 to 01!) so should be an easy and cheap fix. Can anyone confirm that is correct?

It is correct. Take a look on the A110 FB page - someone has done this recently. Great if taking the car elsewhere in Europe.

Thanks, I found the thread on FB. So the mirror is symmetrical so I’m going to swap the RH to the LH and order a new one for the RH.

Part number is 7701040426.

I picked up a new curved clio 2 heated mirror glass for the near side blind spot for a mere £10. 5 minute job to install. A no brainer upgrade for improved visibility. Seems crazy that they don’t come like this stock given the negligible cost.
