Vast numbers of V8 reg still available new at £399 on retention, so it’s below that to sell imho

I know there are many still on the DVLA site, however those eBay figures prove that £400 - £500 is realistically attainable.

I though maybe:

Someone has a F type R Jag So the V8 FRJ would be great.
Also FRJ has a decent probability of being some ones initials.
I guess its about the right person wanting it.

I agree. I think matching someone’s initials are the most likely route, just my opinion

If you find somebody with the initials of FRJ who has a V8 then I suspect you could get a very decent amount.

I brought and sold a load of decent V8 plates when they were first released V8 HUM, V8 ROR, V8 GRR, V8 RRR, V8 PWR, V8 POW - most went very quickly for about £1k.
