How good are automatic motorbikes these days?
Discussion
I'd say it really depends on what you are after, if it's just short commutes or something fun for weekends, electric bikes are actually a solid option these days. They are cheap to run, easy to maintain, and you avoid a lot of the usual hassle of cars in traffic. I have been looking into them recently, and MotoEbikes.com seem to be getting quite popular for everyday use. Not saying they replace a proper car obviously, but for quick runs or city riding, they make a lot of sense.

I have a honda 750 with the DCT, it has various riding modes and even 'paddles' to use when in auto or manual modes.
It's so much better than I thought it would be, so good that I rarely use the manual mode.
And honda have their new e-clutch as well now, also meant to be very good but I haven't ridden one.
