am sure a 296 owner will be along shortly to confirm - it looks a bit weird to my eyes. Is that writing a stick on or is that removable?

Its the transit protection for the kick-plate - they sometimes never get taken off so it doesn't get scratched - not many dealers know that......

But you may want to double check - just in case.......

It's just protection film covering a steel kick plate. You can peel it off. Bear in mind the metal plate will get scuffed/scratched when you do.

How would they not know that. It's incredibly obvious.

Ferrari dealers just as useless as most other dealers then.

OP should just peel off.

I'd start there where it's already peeling.

There's just no way a dealer would think that that's not supposed to come off. My guess is they just can't be arsed.

Dealers usually leave them on to let the owner decide whether or not to remove them due to the scuffing issues. These plates have been fitted this way since at least the 360 was introduced.

Id you leave them on the plastic will go brittle and the glue will go brown and stick to the metal. Guess how I know?
