Last week I got a Hybrid Failure report ping up on the Ferrari app for my 296GTS sat in the garage. The car was recovered to Dick Lovett on Tuesday. They reported today that the 12V (LV) Battery has failed the test (60%). It will need replacement.
This is on a 2023 car with 4000 miles, my mate had exactly the same issue 2 weeks ago with his 2024 296GTS with 8000 miles. The LV battery is not covered under the Ferrari warranty.

Is there an inherent flaw with these batteries? I would like to know if others have had the same issue.

I Had to have one but covered under warranty as I've covered over 17000 mile , think you have to cover over 6000 miles a year then covered under warranty

Mine actually failed while it was on charge. The Ferrari app alerted me while I was at work to a hybrid battery failure, when I got home I could not start the car. From my research, I think the 296 hybrid charging system goes through the LV side first so a failure on the low voltage side can brick the car completely.
