Just saw this and it's quite impressive what Porsche have thrown at this upcoming car

Over 1000hp rumoured for the fast one - not sure which this one is but probably the fastest they currently plan to produce

Looks pretty good huh? They're going to beat Range Rover to market with their first full size electric SUV...

PH ran an article on it. I think it could do pretty well.

So what's the EV forum for if the staff are writing about EV's and putting it in general gassing forum!? laugh

And yes, I think it'll do very well and is bound to poach RR customers that have been holding out for an electric version.

Porsche are on a roll with EV's, of all the brands to embrace electrification, I didn't think it would be Porsche!

It’s a good way for them to get lots of forum traffic as it winds up people who really can’t accept that the whole EV transition isn’t just a silly joke that will go away soon biglaugh

At this rate, I suspect Porsche will soon have the highest ratio of EV to ICE across all of the VW group brands, if they haven’t already!

I'd have an electric Porsche... In a way an electric Porsche actually makes a great deal of sense, as they're relatively affordable Vs more exotic sports cars, and also very cheap to run/enjoy the power - the exact opposite of their ICE cars. I bet that fact alone has opened up the brand to a lot of new buyers. Porsche badge and performance but you don't need to put £500 a month fuel in it to enjoy it.

Porsche also seem to fully embrace EV performance, into the realm of 1000+ hp in the new Taycan and probably even higher for the Cayenne. No messing around smile
