I learned just now that sadly Swerni (Steve W), a long time PHer and fan of TVRs and luminous orange cars, passed away today.

He had recently retired and was enjoying the change of pace.

RIP big guy.

Me too - met through PH and then found we were in the same industry went to some of the same events, which made them way more fun to go to. Stayed in touch with plenty of banter - and was messaging just the other week. frown

If I remember correctly, he had the massive orange 4x4 - Infinty?

I've been on here a long time and always enjoyed reading his posts. My condolences to his family and those who knew him.

Always a reminder how finite our time is.

Did the banter involve any of the C-bombs? Going to have to remember not to send him pictures of rude words now.

We met the same way, PH (even rented him our house in France once for Le Mans weekend) and then IT. He certainly made exhibitions more tolerable.

I sold Swerni my Z06 many years ago, and we kept in touch regularly. He was a kindred spirit, and had an outlook on life (and PH) that mirrored mine. Really sorry to hear this news.

That is sad. I met him a few times, and really liked him. Horrible news, and so sad to pass just after retiring. RIP Steve.

RIP Steve, a longstanding member and a nice fella. He climbed Kilimanjaro after me about 20 years ago IIRC.
