Nice car. Has it had new water pump, coolant crossover pipes and brake lines? Thanks

Thank you for looking at the Boxster. All servicing information is within the add. From memory I haven’t had the water pump changed in my ownership. Angus at AMS was thorough and I believe some pipes or coolant hoses or clamps may have been replaced. The car was inspected at Porsche Harston. The car is dry underneath and has had no issues with cooling. I hope that helps.

Hi there, car seems to be geared up for track usage. Can you advise how much track time the car has seen in your ownership?

Hi, thank you for looking at the Boxster. The car has made three trips to Snetterton and one to Brands in my ownership, with Goldtrack. A young growing family and business has hampered my intentions. Mainly road miles with work trips to and from Cambridge and Norfolk. I have 30 years of track driving mainly Lotus and Triumph before the Boxster. The car has always been warmed up, cooled down and driven with mechanical sympathy. The Boxster makes a superb choice for a bit of track play, it has been very reliable and really benefits from the modifications. Angus from AMS porsche raced Boxsters and has really made this one handle and stop with confidence.

What's the oil use like? Any bore inspection done recently?

Hi the oil has never dropped on the test gauge between servicing. I picked the 3.2 over the 3.4 as I was concerned over bore score and the 3.2 is notoriously less susceptible. The engine was checked over and compression tested before it went on the rolling road with Dynatec RS.

Just a couple of queries:

- Is the Milltek exhaust system a cat-back, or full system with sports cats?

- Presumably the dampers are fixed rate, & not adjustable?

Many thanks

Hi Dampers are fixed, sports cats were on my list as and when the originals needed replacing.

Hi it’s had recent brake work, with caliper rebuilds, and new blue stuff pads. Discs in good condition. You can probably see mileage on the invoices in photos for all recent work.
Belts would have been replaced if necessary, all work in my ownership has been carried out by AMS Porsche, and they were always thorough.
I am away so don’t have access to the history file, other than the servicing in the photographs.
Thank you for your interest.
