2005 BMW M3 Convertible (E46) Manual
Discussion
Hi, during this period the vehicle was under previous ownership(3rd) and only done 2324 miles between the services. The previous owner is a Doctor and owned the car for approx 15 years. He informed me that during his ownership the car was always garaged and kept on a trickle charge. He only used the vehicle occasionally on weekends and only when the weather was good. Thank you.

Hi, as far as I’m aware the rod bearings have not been done as the car has relatively low mileage, I believe it is recommended to have them done around 100,000 mileage.
Regarding the subframe, at the most recent inspection 2 service, it included a body inspection which was carried out by BMW with no issues reported regarding subframe. Also on all previous MOT’s there has been no report of subframe corrosion or issues. Thanks

Disappointed with PH description of the car. Fortunately i went to view yesterday as description made no mention of corrosion on both front wings - zoom in on pictures 123 + 124, nor the 'matching set of Michelin PS4 tyres' being date code 2014 and showing significant signs of cracking.
Hi
Thank you for coming and seeing the car yesterday. I appreciate your feedback regarding the corrosion on the front wings and the tyre age. I wish everything regarding the car to be transparent with no surprises to the next keeper of the vehicle. The car is 20years old and i would have thought some corrosion on the front wings is normal. I would like to add that after looking at all previous MOT’s since 2015 there is no mention of tyre issues. Thanks again for your feedback.
