'Emma' is actually 6 months YOUNGER than me - registered in Sept 1958.
My parents also had a A35 - 4 door in black - when i was a young boy .
My first car was a 1955 A30 - ( RLC972 ) same colour as Emma smile

Wow, what a gem! 😍

The 1958 Austin A35 has always had that underdog charm, but seeing one transformed into a Monte Carlo rally tribute is just incredible. Love that it still retains its original character while being fully rally-spec—lightweight, well-balanced, and race-ready.

The attention to detail is impressive—race-built A-series engine, twin SUs, full rally interior, and a huge history file with invoices and MOTs. That £22k spent really shows, and it’s clear this car has been lovingly cared for.

It’s great that it’s not over-modified, so it still feels like the classic A35 we all know and love, but with serious track potential. Perfect for anyone wanting a pocket rocket for historic motorsport events or just a weekend blast that turns heads.

Definitely a car that would put a smile on any petrolhead’s face!
