Lovely looking MGA. Quick couple of questions.
Can the roll cage bars across the doorways be removed?
Is there a heater installed?

Hi,

The door bars are fixed albeit could be made removable by having competent shop with the correct fitting.

The MGA doesn’t have a heater and is stripped out, being warm has never been an issue.

Hope that assists

Look at the pics, it’s the coupe variant.

Hi. I am looking to Hill Climb the car. Please can you confirm the diff ratio and is the gearbox Quaife close ratio or standard ford ratios? Many thanks. Colin

Hi all,

Yes it is a coupe.

The car is built for hill climbs and sprints for most of its life. I don’t know the ratios but is geared for acceleration and tops out about 125mph in fifth at the end on brandshatch straight.

Colin if I am to keep the car I would be looking at the luffield championship or classic marques. The car was previously competed in the luffield I believe.
