Hi

Is the exhaust aftermarket? Also can I ask why it’s being sold so soon after acquiring? Any issues with the car during your ownership?

Hi there,

As far as I am aware it is the standard exhaust - I have a couple of pals who also own D3s and it is the same as theirs, etc.

As for the reason for selling it was never my intention to sell so soon ....I'm a property developer (for my sins!) and a recent deal turned sour. Of all my cars the Alpina was the last in so is the first out (sadly frown

DO NOT be put off by the mileage - it's condition is fantastic and, whilst I appreciate, it's a well worn cliche, it is a testament to the previous owners. It's a big statement but arguably the best car I have ever owned...I'll be back in one albeit a touring within the next 12 months I am sure...

Any more questions / you wish to view just give me a shout.

Thanks,

Al

Hello, 2 questions please

1/ The last MoT identified issues with the front shocks, have these been attended to?

2/ Do the rear seats fold down?

Good luck with the sale.

Hi,

In order:

1) no - as it was an advisory and as I understood it at the time very minor (but they were obliged to note it)
2) double no I'm afraid! As a cyclist this was an annoyance (I usually have estates smile

Thanks re the sale - any further questions please give me a shout and you're welcome to come and inspect the car for yourself, etc.

Cheers, Al

Exhaust is factory fitted as you can see from the Alpina logo on one of the tail pipes. The other tail pipe has the Akrapovic logo, that is why they sound unlike most diesels. It is exactly the same as my touring.
