2000 Porsche Boxster S (986)
Discussion
Hello,
The previous MOTs mention corroding to the disc's and surrounding brake infrastructure. I can't see any documents that suggest these issues have been resolved. Also, there is consistent mention of the brake pipes being corroded and covered in grease. This was mentioned a few years running. Was the issue addressed and reappeared each year?
Thanks!

Hello, all valid questions.
The PH photographer took images of every receipt retained during my 23 years of ownership. I suspect too many to include in the online file.
However, to confirm, Autostrasse (dependent Porsche Engineers) replaced the rear pads and discs 25th June 2024. The brake pipes are noted on the last MOT on 25th May as “monitor and repair if necessary” (advisories) and as such they have not been replaced.
I hope this helps

Would love some underneath photos showing condition. normally there is more of that sort of thing on these auctions. I appreciate getting to the engine itself is hard but it’s not that hard to get under neath and take a shot. Especially with the rust that the previous poster mentioned it would be easy and transparent to show condition and let people judge for themselves. Did they take them and just not post them? Service history shown is also old which seems a strange choice, they aren’t setting you up for success here if you have better documents than 24k miles ago. Bearing in mind the fee your not getting value for money

Thanks very much for your feedback — it’s really helpful. You’re right that a number of the underside and document images from the initial shoot didn’t make it into the listing, and we appreciate you keeping us honest by pointing it out. We're working on getting them added to the listing as soon as possible and will provide an update when they are there.Good luck with your bidding
