Hey there,
Dont know on how many owners in Japan, it doesn't appear on the UK V5 so it doesn't really matter?
There is Japanese service history with it, but its only done 9500 miles so 1 service.
I have the Japanese auction sheet showing the mileage but nothing is warranted, condition of the car is very very good though so mileage would reflect this.
Its a non accident car.
You'd have to find out insurance quotes and road tax is like a UK car of this age/type.

There isn't any UK cars of this age/type. Dont know on how many owners in Japan, it doesn't appear on the UK V5 so it doesn't really matter?

How about you state the UK car tax for this car. And the insurance group. Thanks.
The V5C states it taxed as PLG so is tax £360 per year? Or more for first few years ?
And yes the number of Japan owners does matter to some, regardless of what the V5C says. Do you have this information?

Insurance is just something you have to persevere with.
I did a personal import with a good partner and initially had the car insured on the VIN, then the Reg.
It wasn't a GRC but it was the 1st Subaru Levorg STi into the country. The insurance company will just add it to the db. But it's a phone job. Insurance is not so bad either in all honesty. More of a problem is the ICE. As with mine it was all in Japanese. Satnav maps limited to Japan also. No English version.
Dash and 2nd dash could set to English however.
Tax on an import is cheap as it's PLG as doesn't go through the emissions stuff for RFL purposes. Currently looking to import one of these also but it's working out at around £40K after import duty/VAT. So not sure it's worth that personally for me.
