“ two of the four downpipes to centre pipe nuts have corroded”

When the car has its service, the oil leak was rectified, would you mind confirming the cost of the above repair by BMW, or did you manage to get quotes for the above?

Hi, the oil leak was rectified privately following the service (by an ex-BMW mechanic friend) by replacing the cam cover gasket and valvetronic actuator gasket (invoice for the genuine parts dated 20/10/2025 in the photos). BMW had quoted £1300 for that repair.
I didn’t get a quote for the exhaust nuts, but it’s not leaking/blowing.
