2000 Subaru Impreza P1 * One owner, 29k miles *
Discussion
One owner and low mileage, normally a positive sign. But this looks sad and neglected. Shame, but it can be restored which looking at the car as a whole. It probably wants a ground up total refurbishment.
Factor in auction hammer price, potentially £50k+ to complete.
Big bucks, but a project that is probably worth undertaking.

Agree with the above - I came here from S&S and if I was in the market for a P1, this wouldn't be it. The MOT history gives an insight into the level of care the car has received. There's moisture in the wheel-well, which means the rear lights are leaking. There's a load of rear-screen condensation too, which isn't a great sign of a water-tight vehicle. And, if you want to read into such things, the floor mats are filthy. If it went for low money AND was rust free on the chassis, you could justifiably titvate it but I expect there's hidden issues.

Agreed, the MOT history is interesting !!I want a retirement project but I think I will skip this.
Having owned 3 P1,s in the past these cars don’t take kindly to salt from our wonderful winters ! I own 4 Subarus now 3 of which are imports with next to no rust …
If it sells for reasonable money then factor in a full restoration for which this car deserves
Great cars though , probably one of the best although WRX STI Type R is more or less the same…
Good luck with sale …

I ran a number of impreza from P1, turbos and a 22b which I sold for a suicidally low number. Oh for a crystal ball...
The P1 was the best of them by some margin. Yes - in my view - better than the 22b (even if it looked better).
This one looks poor. I understand the living by the sea comments but the peppering of stone chips on the driving lamps and the intercooler cooling fins aging suggests higher mileage than 26k? Hard life for this car. clearly a project. Caveat emptor.
