I understand it was about 20 years ago when these cars were not expensive and pre conversion to KITT.
I only found out about it very recently when pistonheads told me. It did not show up on the report for D11 HOF.
I have had a lot of work done to the car, including the full respray (completed only a few weeks ago) and the professional was also surprised when I told him.
I can only think that it was very minor, like bumper and the insurance company just paid out rather than bothering with the repair.

The below is very silly and I hope it doesn’t offend anyone but this just gives you an idea of the sort of thing that you can ask to the AI.
The AI will search through all the television series and either give you a relevant direct quote back or it will say something humorous and intelligent in the style of KITT. It is quite astonishing, you can ask it anything and it will give you a brilliant response, just like the real KITT. Ask it about what you should eat tonight, say that you think you are being followed, ask it about a good bar in the area or whatever you want. It will reply brilliantly.

This is a great car and I was an avid fan, now I have only one problem, I have the cash, I have owned several cars but I don’t have anyone who can complete the car. Have there been any advice on the fixed price to get this car where it needs to be? Maybe not concourse but in a good usable condition ? Any idea of reliable people to do it as it seems there was a row of idiots doing it before recent ?
Getting the work done is not a problem. The person that currently has KITT has offered to complete everything. I intended to get her completed and then keep it or sell it but I’m afraid I have to sell now.
It will take an hour to weld the light bracket, there is a small amount of work to do on the dash board. Then it is aesthetics of painting the interior plastic beige.
