Hi, yes these cars are very mechanical.
Nice to be mentioned alongside Ducati.
The key to the tick over is the Idle control valve.
This car ticks over just under 1,000 rpm.
It is a great drive ! Green seats best option available at this time. Quarter leather Recarro's better but only available in left hand drive.

I do regret selling it, and seeing this one has made me wonder if I could find space, it was a cracking little thing to run around in.

The black 145 looks first class!
Shame that my blue 145 does not have the tan leather seats. They look as per Ferrari interior!
As you say these cars.are a superb drive with tremendous connection between the driver and steering.
Mine is the series one car but has series two wheels which lift the colour a little.
Set of series one wheel rims come with the car.
Car is set up nicely cambelt, tensioner, variator and balance belt all changed to provide maximum performance as well as competition exhaust system, not too loud, to finish it off.
This is a car to be used and enjoyed. It has been well cared for with best options for parts when required always taken.

Yes I had the car fully rebuilt in Estonia.
Both sills done and interior replaced.
Specialist garage in Tallinn Estonia.
I had been working locally some four years ago and drove the car across to get work completed.
Have all pictures and invoices
Car is sound and is also mechanically top class.
MOT Co.pleted in UK couple.months back

I have had one of these, very nice unrestored car in dark metallic red with that stunning tan interior. It wasn't easy to sell though.
The only other really nice Italian everyday car I had was a Lancia Beta 1.6 twin cam, also dark red but solid, with tan interior, unrestored and so good it got into the NEC.
Didn't come home with me though.
