Has this car had cams and/or an aftermarket manifold fitted?

To my knowledge, the previous engine did have the BBR 2.0 kit but I am not aware that the Cams and manifold as part of the original upgrade were installed on the new engine. (I would think not as I assume 2.5l engine has different cams and manifold?!) I apologise as my engineering knowledge is not great - I put my faith in BBR!

In terms of service history - this car was serviced in the year prior to the engine replacement but I do not have the records. The engine and clutch replacement was done in April 2025. Since then the car has only covered circa 3,000 to 4,000 miles.

Recent works were to replace the disc and pads as shown on the image in the auction photos.

Hope this helps and happy bidding!

Lovely car. I would suggest the cams have been changed based upon the power reading on the documentation provided. Could you please advise if the brakes & suspension has been upgraded to cope with the extra power.

Many thanks.

Thank you for the comment!

No, suspension is standard. That was going to be the next job!

Happy bidding!

Hi there

On the latest MOT there is the following comment;

Electronic stability control component slightly damaged (7.12 (c))

Are you able to shed any further light on this please?

Yes, no problem! A new battery was fitted as part of the MOT and when that is done the ESC needs a drive to reset it. The ESC is fully functional and no issues on it!

Many thanks!
