It's an absolutely phenomenal piece of engineering I agree with you there.

I've probably got to accept that my E63 is the best car I will drive in my lifetime. I cannot see how it could be bettered

Has the car had any paint or ever been in an accident?
When it was for sale a few years ago it had boot badges and wing badges.

Not been in an accident to the best of my knowledge. No history of any accident repairs in the service history and always MOT on time. Was de-badged hence no badges. There are small AMG badges on the grill and exhaust and wheels but that's it.

"Factory debadged grille"??
Both the badges are on the grille still - so what does that mean? 🤷

Are there any bodywork/paint invoices with the paperwork?
Judging by the cars previous auction and sale listings it has had some.
Plus with the badges being removed is often a sign that bigger paint works have been done.
Thanks in advance.

I do not have any bodywork or paint invoices. No work like that has been done to the best of my knowledge, but I cannot rule it out 100% as I have only owned the car for 2 years.

I don’t know why everyone is making such a thing about this being debadged. I have all my motors debadged, I think it looks better and stops all the dirt collecting around the badges. This looks lovely, a proper sleeper. Good luck to the vendor with the sale

Thank you Lynch.

This car really is a great car and I will miss it dearly when it is gone. I am not sure what the beef is with it being de-badged, but I do know that it is one of the things I love about it the most.

It's non-showing off nature, combined with the fact that it delivers unbelievable amounts of power and torque in such a refined way is what makes this car a cracker.

Hey there - car looks great. I’ve missed my 2014 C63 since getting rid of it I know that much.
A quick question on the MOT history - could you provide some more detail on the reasons for the Engine MIL inoperative and the fix on the TPS please?

Thanks!

As best I remember, the engine light was due to the TPS on the NSR wheel.

Had the TPS replaced, engine light went out. I have the paperwork for the last MOT but am at work and its at home. Can check it when I get back, but it passed with zero difficulties once the TPS was done.

The MOT I have had done was done at SMERCS in Portsmouth who are a Mercedes/SMART specialist, so it has been very thoroughly looked over.

In 2025 I did have to replace a coil pack and also had all the spark plugs done at the same time, but other than that the car has been absolutely bulletproof the entire time I have owned it. I have driven it all over the place and it has never missed a beat.

Being de badged is a sign paint work has been done. And there’s no history of why that paint work has been done.
The car didn’t come from factory with the omission of model designation code.
And if you type the reg number in to google it will show previous listings where it once had all its badges.
Plus some damage.
Would have been nice to know the full history including who, where and why any paint was done.
Simple.

One of the things that makes PistonHeads Auctions unique is the open discussion around each
listing and we really value the input and experience the community brings.

To keep things useful for all potential buyers, we just ask that comments stay focused on facts,
direct questions, or personal experience that helps others build a clear picture of the car. This space works best when comments stay focused on specifics, questions, or relevant insight, not speculation or assumption.

We cannot see any evidence on google of this car damaged, we are thorough with our investigations and the car has never been reported in an accident.
