Seriously, 754 BHP,
4 wheel drive
That's awesome.

The Chinese cars are here to stay.

If you were to have a Chinese car, which would it be ?

IM5. Test drove the single motor LR a while back and it was pretty good and plenty fast enough. Not perfect, although pretty compelling for the money.

I've seen and sat in both models (unfortunately not driven).

Both are very impressive. I prefer the looks of the 5, the 6 looks a bit.....blobby and out of proportion.

I thought it looked a bit like an Aston Martin DBX knock-off (not necessarily a bad thing) and it’s a nice place to sit.

I'm due to take delivery of an IM5 later this month. It was too good to pass on a business deal, particularly when leasing through my limited company.

I also preferred the look of the IM5 as agree with PP, the IM6 looks bulbous (in my opinion).

I'm going from a new Range Rover Sport to this, so may be in for a shock! Won't miss the Range Rover monthly payment though tongue out

Would be great to get an update - how are you finding it?

It does look really good on paper. I have heard stories about the software not being quite up to scratch (bugs here and there) but I am not sure how serious of an issue it is. Also, I am not sure how insurable they are. I will have to ask around.

You can get a test drive at an MG dealer. I test drove an IM6 Launch Edition (basically the same car as the IM5) and it was a mixed bag. Obviously the air suspension made it very comfortable, the power was plentiful, and it was very roomy inside. On the downside, the software and UX were bloody awful. Dozens of tiny, fiddly settings across two screens. Really, really painful to use.
