Xpeng G6

Has anyone any experience of the updated Xpeng G6?

Seems like my socials are flooded with influencer type videos of the G6 and wonder if it s paid hype or it is actually a decent car?

The Long Range model has caught my eye.

My neighbour has one, for two weeks I thought it was a Tesla lol

Not spoken about it but he dosn't seem to have had any tow trucks turning up to pick up as a non starter.

That's the problem with so many of these new Chinese EV brands - I saw an MG IM6 last week
and it also looked exactly like a Tesla from a distance.

Why can't the Chinese car companies show a little bit of originality occasionally?

Very Tesla ish.

Things like the screen showing all the vehicles around you and stuff.


Overall decent car - I'd have one.


Charging speed is way ahead of most competitors.

Think I might be tempted to take the plunge… can get Long Ranger model fully insured, 15k miles, maintenance etc for £470 a month

There's a few EVs in my street now and they all look like Teslas. The big white saloon thing which I was sure was a Model S, is in fact a BYD Seal.
