Just seen the Detling news on totalkitcar.com, which TBH didn't leave me a whole lot wiser about the Ma5da MX150R. Found this pic posted by RTR on the MEV forum - is this was what was being referred to?

Just returned for a very successful first test day at Castle Combe. Jonathon Blake is at the wheel on Monday on the same circuit for the Nippon race.
He is running a standard 1.8 Exocet with a full cage

Although there are control parts and a minimum weight, an aero body doesn't seem to be specifically excluded...

That's why we put the side pods on, catch a little air and slow it down!
It's running against the best Jap cars on the British tracks on Monday, not likely to win against the 350BHP cars but there are lots it will pass!

Three very quick edits from Combe today. Horrible weather for driving and photography, so sorry for the poor quality.

I'll post some more when I sort them out properly as a nice bottle of Red is calling at the moment....

Race 1 - Qualified 14th, Finished 9th (I think )




Race 2 - Grid 9th, Finished 16th (Don't know if there was a mishap on Lap 1 but the car arrived with us at least 30 seconds behind last car, very good drive to get to 16th).

I understand that the Race Exocet started from the pit lane on race 2 ! (not sure why)
