Does anyone have a copy of the magazine article on the BMW powered Hawk AC ACE, Aston Martin racing green, built by Talon Sportscars for David Benson. I have had a ride in this car and ordered a kit. David showed me the article which he believes was in Kit Car - December 2009.

Willing to pay for the mag - you don't appear to be able to order this as a back issue.
Cheers Tony

I might have it. They aren't in any order though, so hopefully someone else will come up trumps. I'll search later on. Was it in Which Kit?/CKC as well?

Roger, thats the one - lovely car and I prefer the practicality of the BMW engine over the V8's. PM sent - cheers

Ace should NEVER have a V8. In fact, a BMW 6 is absolutely correct!! smile

Sorry Arthur, I should have said I chose the ACE rather than the 289 V8 because of the BMW engine and the classic lines. A lot more exclusive than the Cobra masses !

I saw a Hawk 289 last year at a car show. It had a 'Hawk' badge on the nose, which I thought was a nice touch. No 'AC' anywhere. smile
