I saw this one on Autotrader literally 2 weeks back on the market for a very reasonable £3895, now its back on here at almost £6K!

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2938147.htm

Bar the wheels and a stripe I wonder what else has been done or just a cheeky markup by the dealer....

why?

Some of you need to grow up a bit - it's called business BTW.

If the owner sold a £6k car for £3k - then more the fool them.

What would people consider a fair price for this car?
I must say it doesn't look too bad value?

interesting is the fact that one seller advertizes it as 1.6 at the beginning of the advert (pistonheads) the other as 2.1 (ebay)

by the way: is it an IRS or live axle model?

anyway:far too expensive.

pinto powered 3500 to 4500pound....

155HP is more wishfull thinking than reality.

lotuseater(the ebay seller) is well known to deal with Lotus Esprits in dubios condition, also the picture showing the car is NOT in front if his workshop/showroom....as he only owns a little hall (where he does some typical backyard resprays) which is located somewhere on a kind of farm.

recently a freshly re-built (due to front damage) widebody wesfield, with independant rear suspension, new body, new chassis, new suspension around, everything powerdcoated, 4-pot calipers front, tidy, clean, faultless and detailed enginebay with a freshyl rebuilt x-flow engine from burtons and a 5-speed t9 with hydraulic relase bearing conversion, changed hands for 6250,-pound!!!

and took weeks for the seller to get it sold!! was one of the best westfields recently advertized.

Lotuseater1 is located in Nottinghamshire, whereas the other dealer named "PureLotus" is located in West Yorkshire.

so be aware...here are 2 dealers conmbining their business!!!

and both want to earn money!!!
