Well some good news, well not good, bloody great news! IVA passed. ;D
Took less than an hour including paperwork. Registration forms are in with inspection and plates tomorrow all being well. Shame i'm off to Goodwood till Monday :
A few pics of her wearing her in IVA spec. Drove really nice, 200 trouble free miles so far and 30+MPG average. So to make 3.2ltr cars green you just remove half the weight

Fantastic, well done!
Did you get any comments at all, or any things to change while you were there? Where did you go for the IVA?
I went to Nottingham. A good experience there, testers were very supportive. I failed my first one on a handbrake in-balance(new caliper was faulty) a switch to test the low brake fluid level was missing from the cockpit(£2 to sort) and a few sharp edges/cable routes.Did you get any comments at all, or any things to change while you were there? I was ready to change things there but luckily didn't need to.
Its a GKD Legend 6. Its running a e36 m3 3.2 evolution engine on the standard ecu.
Its a great feeling to have passed, also the fact its had no fault codes show up in 200miles is good news too. Just need to spend a day making it as I want and getting the driving position right, I don't like the extra height with a seat runner.

Feel free to drop me an email via PH
Its got a full stack data logging/camera/dash system fitted along with a racelogic traction/launch control system which add to the cost.
Its amazing what a cheap donor they are as you can get a decent rusty one for 2k, with all the leather/wheels to sell off plus other bits if you can be bothered.
It runs on the standard ecu with full EWS security so you save ££££'s on the cost of mapping/ecu's and its got independent throttle bodies as standard which again save £££'s. As its got the standard ecu you only need a £15 cable to connect to the factory diagnostic port to view/erase errors and live data off the engine.
