Woohoo just collected my MK Indy Blade
Discussion
Well am over the moon, just collected it last night and looking forward to some fun over the weekend.
One thing I am keen to improve upon is the feel/bite of the breaks. It has fairly new discs and I think normalish spec mintex pads.
Can someone please advise what pads provide a much better initial bite and require less pedal pressure to give strong braking?
Have used Corbone Lorraine RC5+ pads in my VX but not sure if these are available for the Sierra calipers? Any other ideas please?
Have also secured a Hayabusa engine to upgrade from the Fireblade so watch this space....

Welcome to Indy land. Here's mine (although Im fitting a new engine next week). I run Wilwood 4 piston brakes on the front with drilled and grooved discs and Sierra standard ones on the back and it stops like you dropped an anchor out the back regardless of speed. No matter how hard I stomp on the brakes it rarely locks up too.
You going on track with it?

Leg,
Thanks for the welcome! Looking forward to some good times and tinkering...
Mine is like new condition but the brakes are crap! Think a pad change will sort it but not sure whats the most agressive/grippy pad I can get for these cars?
Hoping to do a track day at Lydden once I have the new engine fitted.
