As I am building a 7 type special using a 1.6 turbo MX5 lump I have no room for a standard rad, however there are 16 pges of Honda Civic alloy rads on the Bay which suggests that more than Civics are using them.
Does the team think that a rad with a core size of 350 x 350 x 42 will keep the beastie cool? bearing in mind that all the air that gets in the nose will be going through it as I will duct it so.

I hope so, because that's the radiator i'm using in my car, if you're interested have a look at my build thread for photos of it mounted on the car.

You'll be scooping a lot of air, but IMO always worth thinking of what you'll do by way of fans for if you hit traffic jams and/or cooling after a run... and obviously anything else you can do to get heat out of engine bay (exhaust wrap etc). Are you fitting an oil cooler too?

Oil cooler will be fitted as will an electric fan. The car will have the lower engine bay covered in alloy sheet to create a tunnel for the air to pass over the engine and side vents by the bulkhead to add to the bonnet ones.
Thanks for the comments.
