fine thank you.... how about you guys

The Global is great fun and i love these bike engines but i still struggle to rev it out (12000rpm !!!!) We will have to do a trackday together somewhere it will be nice to run with something else that will go round corners. When i bought the car the guy selling it said you will soon get frustrated with trackdays, i thought why ..... i now know what he meant, late braking and high corner speeds can be a little frustrating when everyone else is mega fast down the straights

hi kyle, would be excellent to meet up and do a track day together. im so glad i bought mine, having so much fun in it. have you done many track days in yours? you sound abit dissapointed in the straight line performance!! mine feels more than quick enough, and i think our engines are the same. whats the closest circuit to you? or where do you think your be going on your next track day? thanks

hi Gav

Its great to be honest.... ive done 4 trackdays so far in it and its been very reliable. Its so quick round the corners it just doesnt seem to accelerate much down the straights!!! I did a trackday with a guy in a GT3 RS and he held me up round the corners then flew off down the straights.... very frustrating.

I love Anglesey and it suits our cars really well, do you fancy coming to one there?

hi, i understand what you mean about faster cars pulling away down the straights, but i quite enjoy the fun of chasing them down-under braking and cornering! are you able to change your gear ratios for individual circuits? is yours chain driven,or a gear/diff rear end drive? to be honest, thats along way for me, irl defernatly be up for, brands, silverstone, mallory, donington, oulton park in the new year! cheers.

oulton is my local but ive not done it yet with the Global, shall we do that? Gerrards is a bike engine destroyer so i will give Mallory a miss. Cadwell would be fun as well.

yep i can change the sprockets for more top end or acceleration etc

Hi Gav

Im quite lucky i got 2 engines with my Global both tuned with hot cams and headwork, i have just stripped and refreshed the spare and considering it had done a full race season (previous owner) it was quite good. We changed the clutch as ive heard they tend to break up and the bits go into the motor then bang!! Ive just fitted some flat slides and they make a lovely noise!!

I have heard a few people say that the engines are a little fragile but i think if they are well looked after i they are strong. Ive also fitted a manual paddle shift which is good fun. Im looking forward to next season. When will you do your first trackday next year?
