Are there self build kits available for KTM's X-Bow or BAC's Mono?
Are there any similar looking kits out there?
Thanks

The only one I know of was the Typhoon Valdris but they stopped making that a while back. There are quite a few Atom-esque cars though, e.g. from MEV / Road Track Race

Mr2Mike, thanks for the info but I guess what I was realy asking was: Do KTM or BAC supply their cars in kit form for self build?

There was an Xbow type kit but it got pulled due to threatening letters. If you want something that goes as well as the Mono or the Xbow then try the Deronda, but if you're looking for a budget build then look at the MEV Rocket or the Exocet or there's the SDR V-storm if you want to carry more than just one passenger

To my knowledge neither the X-Bow nor the Mono is available in kit form.

I dont mean to be rude and hijack, but to justify the MEV Rocket, Exocet or SDR V-storm as budget builds is a little unfair, or any kit car infact. The Xbow, Mono, Atom, Deronda are all pre-built vehicles with low volume manufacturing input, so their price to purchase is justified by the manufacturer completing the car in full. Any kit car can be built to their build standard, performance and extream level and only your imagination and skils can be the limit. Engine, gearbox, suspension, and any other part to bolt to the chassis can be to the highest quality and technology if you want to spend the money. If you want to spend £6k on many kit cars as a budget then you can, but you can also spend £30+K on the same kit car and have a car that will potentially out perform the x-bow, Atom, Mono and Deronda in performance and build quality. I personally dont think any kit car is budget, it's what you put into it that makes it budget.

Sorry for the rant.

Mabbx sorry to have to correct you but the Deronda is available as a kit.

As for "budget", well of course you can spend as much as you want to on anything you like if you wish to. There's certainly some very nice examples of Rockets out there that have had no expense spared on them and yes indeed they should perform very nicely too. I certainly totally agree that some kits can out perform many very pricey production cars, I should know as I've left a fair few behind on several circuits including Atoms, Lambos, Ferarris and Nobles. The kit? A Deronda smile
