I have an order in for the MEVAbusa and have started a build blog on the MEV forum. Engine is with me (with a couple of performance mods !!) and chassis will be by the end of this month. I have had a sneek preview and love the styling but still not seen it fully assembled so looking forward to Stonleigh.

I am sure their will be plenty of pics of the Razor and I am very keen to have a look also. If you want to have a good gander at the MEVAbusa after Stonleigh, then pop over the Road Tack Race in Nottingham, they are more than acomodating. Other BEC kits that RTR manufacture are the Atomic and the TR1ke, which are R1 based but can also acomodate a Hayabusa engine. I should be getting plenty of pics of all cars at he show.

Hope this helps.

If it were me I'd be looking at the Mevabusa. It's got the correct number of wheels for a start.

Setting up today at Stoneleigh I was lucky enough to get an early look at the Razor.

All I can say is IT'S WELL WORTH LOOKING AT! Cracking job, not cheap but it looks great and definably one to consider. If you're remotely interested in trikes or small cars you really should go and have a look this bank holiday weekend at Stoneleigh. I'd be gobsmacked if they don't take a few orders tomorrow.

Good questions, I’ll start the debate then. OK I’m a MEV Owner so I’m bound to be a little bit bias however credit where credit due the razor is stunningly beautiful in the flesh. The first question is 3 or 4 wheels ? That aside, handling, track user ability, acceleration, cornering etc the MEVabusa will, I expect win hands down. General weather protection the Razor comes up trumps, although I never sat inside the cockpit, it looks mighty claustrophobic in there. Side impact and torsional rigidity of the Razor I’d like to know more about, like to see what’s underneath the skin. Also the big question of COST would need to be thoroughly gone through.

Overall there’s no question in the flesh the Razor at Stoneleigh with its strong colour scheme and moody lighting looked ‘simply stunning’ and if on the day I’d have to criticize anyone it would be Team MEV for not presenting the MEVabusa as well as it could have been. (very difficult to stand back and admire as it was crammed in with the rest)

Would be handy for some info on the razor as I know nothing on it cost wise whatsoever. The mevabusa is pretty easy to price up, 6k kit and 3k donor pushes for a build in excess of 10k. The mevabusa is very tempting smile
