I am a company director, though not 'powerfully' built. I've squeezed into Caterhams, Radicals etc, but haven't tried a Dax. While I'm not expecting comfort I'm keen to know if a 4 hour journey to view one would be a complete waste of time on account of not even getting in. Any tall Dax owners care to offer advice?

It doesn't have a removable wheel, which would have to be remedied straight away.

Hi If you are looking for a 7 style car and rather tall they do not come much larger within the cockpit area than a Dax Rush, With full length sierra drive shafts they also have max shoulder to shoulder room.

A quick plug if i may my Dax Rush is also for sale under kit cars Dax etc it is the Blue Honda F20c ex S2000 powered car.

I made the max amount off room i possibly could within the footwells, and used the willwood pedal set so it is quite adjustable, And with a Snap off steering wheel to ease entry/exit

Also for seating i used Tillet seats on runners so that the seat shell slides right up to the rear baulkhead

I'm sure it's worth every penny but my toy fund only just stretches to five figures so I'll be settling for something a little more modest this time around.

To wrap the thread up; I've now bought a SWB Rush. The space is fine, not too confined in the cockpit. I have a little bit of room to move the pedal assembly back, which should also make the driving position much more comfortable for my gangly pins. As a special bonus the aeroscreen is actually the right height for a lanky git, though my vertically-challenged girlfriend can't see over it.
