Does anyone know what the standard Castor and toe settings are for the front of an SEIw?

Just driven my brothers one and the steering feels much more fluid than my locost. Given that the rack and uprights are the same I was hoping to give the settings a try.

Did you build your locost to the book? The dimensions for the front wishbone mountings are a fair way out in the book, meaning you have bugger all castor, and virtualy no self centering.

1/2 degree neg camber and o mm toe in on the front will start you off.1mm toe in on the front will give it a bit more twitchy turn in if that's what you wish.

Mine is completely different to the book.

Currently I have
-1.7deg camber
6 deg castor
1 deg toe in

This setup gives avery strong turn in and excellent grip. I.e. no understeer at all on the track even with some very dull 175 BF goodrich tyres. The only issue is that the steering is a little heavy lacks feel. I guess a little less castor will help that but the self centreing is fairly weak anyway and as you say the standard setup which I recon is around 2deg is not nice to drive.

I have redesigned the wishbones to give adjustable castor using the book mountings.
