top suspension joint...?

Hi there, my tiger cat e1 has had its mot today and failed as i need new 'top suspension joints'? what are they are how do i find out where to get them from?
i looked on tiger cat website and they have top ball joints for £18 , is this the same?
by the way im new to all this,
any help please?

Yes the top joint is in the top rocker arm and is in effect the swivel for the steering.
The joint is a Transit track rod end so just go into your local motor factors and ask for Quinton Hazell part QR1408RHT. It's the same number both sides.
You could buy them from us but it's not fair on you to have to pay postage and our time for something you can get locally.

iv passed that info onto my mechanic who is now ordering them up!
the other thing i need to sort and again you may probably know, he has told me that i need to find is a shaft for the steering , between rack and steering column, he mentioned something to do with a universal joint etc...does this mean anything to you?
