Hi,

I'm currently installing a LS6 into a RX7 FD and now need to identify coolant hoses that will fit. I could use silcon 90 degree bends with joiners, but I'd prefer to use one piece hoses.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a catolgue or a website that details the dimensions of avaliable hoses. So far I have only been able to find these on websites in the US and they seem to be made by either Dayco, Gates or Goodyear.

Thanks

Head down to your local parts place and ask if you can have a nose through their catalogues. Manufacturers have probably already made the thing you need and it'll likely end up cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestions, SFS performance looks good and probably cheaper than some of the other web sites I've already looked at.

I did try a few motor factors yesterday but none of them had any catalogues, it was all computerised and therefore they wanted car make and model number. Two of them could only recommend trying a local motorsport company, who could make up a bespoke silicon hoses.

I've identified some dayco hoses that might fit, I'm just waiting for a quote on the postage costs from the states.

Depending on the angle Viper performance do flexible silicon hoses which can also be cut to suit. I have just used them in 1 metre lengths with fairly tight turns on my chevy engine to replace a selection of joined pipes. This is the best picture I have at the moment doesnt really show how flexible they are, but you can see the top hose which goes 90 degrees down & then 90 degrees through the firewall.

If you Google custom silicone hoses, there are several suppliers on the first page.
