Dash design examples
Discussion
Some good ones (and some not-so-good) in this locost builders thread, good for ideas if nothing else.

I felt much the same as you so am building my own:
Obviously I've just mocked the gauges in there, the outside panels will be covered and the centre console left as bare ally.
A lot of people go with the all-in-one digi dash these days, which can look very good but is a bit spartan for my taste - I wanted loads of buttons and dials

Thanks. That's the kind of thread I was hoping this would turn into. Not many 'great' examples, sadly.
I'm leaning towards an all-in-one digital dash, a starter button and a small bank of switches for the ancillaries. The goal is a clean and efficient layout. I do like the idea of sneaking a storage cubby into the dash somewhere.

Cool dashes you two, I love the look of those Race Technology and AIM displays, even better with the datalogger, i'll upgrade one day!
Data loggers are UNCOOL for me....every time I break something stu or Martin just say well didnt you see the 10 warning lights were on... or why were you running 3bar of boost etc!
My dash and the ECU both log... and I dont know how to hide the evidence on either!
I wouldnt bother ungrading. Yours looks great as it is. Clean, simple and cool.

Not the best picture and taken during rebuild but you get the gist. In ABS with a view to remaking it in CF at some point. Biggest thing for me was getting the switches reachable as I'm only ickle.

All visible in the dark too
(another rubbish pic sorry).

Was about to ask the same thing.
I see you sold the Cerbera, despite my best intentions and desires I just could not bring myself to part with the cash for one, I going to have a crack at a kit now instead.Paul (Had a poke around your Cerbera at Goodwood Brekkie Club

I remember now, yep was great fun but the westie I have now is as quick (up to about 70 officer) , cheaper to run and handles better. Mind you the noise nd occasion is not the same. Oh, and the westie is great on track!Paul (Had a poke around your Cerbera at Goodwood Brekkie Club
