Thank you all for your nice comments. I am pretty pleased with it as you'd imagine!

One eyed Mick: sorry it WILL be stickered up soon!

Details: it's a Mk3 Toyota MR2 with a couple of mods - namely a 3.0 V6 motor in the back (Camry 1MZ). It's lower than a we's morals, yet still surprisingly able when it comes to speedbumps and rough roads!

It has some horsepower and torque, I think its 200 of each? It weighs around 1100kg*, so it's not slow!

Has a Ferrari 355 backbox, so it sounds superb on full revs!

Still has the full MR2 interior: i toyed with the idea of a dash install but then remembered it's not really worth the bother. The interior is fine as it is. but I will put a sticker on the Toyota badge in the steering wheel!

Obviously it's no longer got the soft top - so it has a decent amount of boot space - something this car isn't known for.

Riding 17" wheels, but I am gonna swap them for some multispokes in gold (also 17") as they are a bit lighter and less scuffed!

It's a quarter of the price to insure now, as opposed to when it was a 'Two.

More Pics will follow when I get a chance! Anything specific you want to see? (engine I assume, interior, side shot...)

It's a good car to drive, but the spacers give it a square footprint so it feels a little "extra" mid engined. Sure I'll get used to it...

It'll be around CasVegas on the 23rd: keep your eyes peeled.

  • complete guess based on: 996 as standard, plus a couple of cylinders, plus the bodywork which is a bit heavier than the fag paper thick 'Two panels.

I can hardly recognise her mate. What a transformation! As many pics as possible if you please.

Black Bob Jnr has had a dose of the Michael Jackson. And i don't mean discovered a penchant for McCauley Culkin's derriere.

Ah ha - This is the car that Olie mentioned to me in another thread!

Looks great, it really does. Should be a few mnore ponies available from that engine, huh?

Some pics of the interior would be nice!

Who supplied the kit? Would you be willing to give an indication of build cost?

There's a 1MZ on TB that the guy has built up to 270bhp NA, a lot of work but the potential is there. Or the same from a bolt on supercharger.

I'm over the moon at seeing this. Props to Andy, you've done quite the job. smile

Olie: I have the MRS200 sticker on my desk waiting for a not-snowy day to fit!

Dom, it's a complete "original" body - but has been VERY modded to fit.

A couple of my mates are getting copies made, but some people have asked me about copies too - if there's interest I might think about a group buy? I know a fibreglass chap - I'll ask him for a rough price shall I?

Interior is standard MR2. can do a pic if you really want, but google is just as good!
