Westfield 2.0Zetec TB's...
Discussion
Hi folks
Hoping someone might be able to give my good old dad some advice...
He recently finished a lovely build of an FW bodied 2.0 zetec Westie, it's perfect bar a lack of Tb's
So he has been looking at Jenvey Tb's but needs to know if they will fit under the large hinged bonnet of the fw body (with a 90mm trumpet)
Does anyone know if this has been done? (dad doesn't want a hole in the bonnet bar the 2 that are already there..
I'm aware of wscc forums but dad isn't techy and I'm loathed to pay to join for one question...
Thanks in advance
Chris

I had Jenveys on my SEiW with standard bodywork, and with an offset filter they fited under the bonnet, and I believe there might be a bit more room with the fw, as there is the couple of bulges on the side. My mate had a fw Westie, and that had KMS throttle bodies on it, which fitted fine, so if you can get the dimensions of them then you could check. Also, I'm sure the factory would be able to advise.
What Adam said. The FW is a touch wider in the bonnet than the SEW/SEiW Westy. I have GSXR TBs on a Bogg Bros manifold and they fit under the bonnet on my SEW. Jenveys have a nice stubby manifold so you should have no issues.
Why not get your dad to join the WSCC and visit our forum .. plenty of guys on there would be able to give more advice and guidance!
