re-calibrating a bike speedo
Discussion
Morning all, A quick one (to which i think i know the answer)
I'm starting, well re-starting, a bike engine'ed mini project, and want to use the bike's loom and electrics in the car, as we all know mini's have exceptionally crap wiring.
I want to use the bike binnacle as the main instrument display, as it has all the correct tell-tale lights and dials needed to pass an IVA test (i think).
Now obviously in sticking this bike engine into the car i am going to be altering the gearing so throwing off the accuracy of the speedo. Are there any ways to actually re-calibrate a speedo, or am i going to have to make up a new segmented face for the dial?
(its a Honda VTR1000 bike, but this wont help at all, as nobody else uses this bike in a BEC format, yet...)

You need a "Speedo healer". Very easy to fit and adjust.

There's also a similar device called "Yellow Box" but it has limited adjustment range.
