love that car... I've already been following it through your build!

you need to finish it though - none of this "store it until enthusiasm returns" rubbish!

I know where Nick is comming from and it is often a good thing to step away a while and come back later. I do it though by having several projects running alongside one another and then take a break from one by doing one of the others. It works well, three is the ideal I find.

Really like that, good clean lines not being so brazen trying to be a GTO. The lack of vents on nose cone and side vents look nice. Just make sure the engine can keep cool after you bold the supercharger on!! :-) And I like those wheels, much better. What colour are you going for? When I was planning mine I fancied doing it Aston light green metallic like the DBR1 racer.

I think I would still have filled the door sidestrip in though!!

Very well done - much better. Looks so much more cohesive. Instead of an existing kit just chopped to fit, it's become a kit thoughtfully restyled to match the donors proportions.

Tribute should splash your car and sell that instead (on a royalty basis natch!)

Would look lovely in a vintage silver.

@Lee - have you seen what Simpson is doing with a gen 3 MX5?

Lookign good, my vote would be for silver with the yellow band over the rear of the bonnet, second as already said would be the aston green metallic or if you want to be different go with the ecurie ecosse dark blue with white wheels and decals.

Thanks all!
I still might fill the door swage line......or maybe taper it to nothing from the bonnet shut line to half way down the door....

Colour...going for dove grey, or as near to silver without being metallic, as I cannot spray metallics!
I really have to catch up with the rest of my life before I finish it off. Just a couple of months then a bit more filling, sanding etc.
