Decent wipers?

I've got Tex spoon wipers and they flap about all over the shop when the arm is up. Even in use, they seem like they'll go flying off at any moment (has happened to me in the past). Nothing more embarrassing than driving a kit car and having a wiper fall off as you're driving... up there with running out of petrol!
Is bayonet fit any better? Seems most/all modern stuff uses a hook fitting, but these don't seem to be available in stainless and in the sizes needed for old classics and kit cars.
