Here is an idea just for fun. Post here with your kit car quiz questions and we try to guess the answers.
As a starter, why is the wording on this billboard advert in conflict with the car pictured?
Apparently they won't let you sign up for the college if you don't spot intentional error.

Here's a couple from me to get the cogs going -

Which kit is a "replica" of the oldest original car ?
The best I could come up with was the Teal "Bugatti T35" which the original is from 1924 - anyone with an older one?

Which car was the first to use a front transverse engine from the donor in a mid rear transverse configuration in the kit (Question close to Stuart's heart I guess !) ?
From memory I will offer up the Gregori GPR or the Ginetta G26 (1985)(mk3 escort engines IIRC)

Over to you all.

I'll go with 1967 GTM Coupe then!

Probably one earlier than that though!

I was going to bid Sherpley Speed Six for the oldest replica but I think the Blower Bentleys came a year or 2 after the Type 35!

Unipower GT January 1966 but I won't be surprised to find another earlier car too

Siva Gt / S160 was 1971 the prototype for Marcos wasn't taken up by them. the Llama used an Imp engine though but I'm not too sure when that came out 72 I think.

I know, I know I'm a bit of a geek eh? just happens I live near by where Siva and Neville Trickett were located plus I know someone who was involved a little in some of Neville's cars

How quick are you? I was hoping that the low res pic would mean you could not see that it has an "ELECTRIC" sticker on the back. Not firing on any cylinders then. Well done.
Next quiz question? Please don't make them too hard!

The Quantum Extreme with it's stainless monocoque type design was marketed for it's tortional rigidity.

Prize?

Can I set my own kit car challenge?

Can anyone find a pic of a "Seraph" ???
Sort of a poormans Ferrari 355 (not a replica)

That's all I could find, but I am sure the car I am thinking about was also called Seraph

Very angular, large side intakes, beetle based (I think)

Not much help am I?

In my very early years I owned a GP Centron that due to an accident (prior to my ownership) had an early TVR front end grafted on from a factory race car. The only pic I have ever seen of it is in a kit car book where it is wrongly credited as being a mk2. Q does it still exist and are there any pics about?
