Yes, Andy Bates supplied it and fitted it for me. A cable driven paddle shift is just THE best way to change gear if you want driver involvement. Very quick gear changes too, when connected to a sequential gearbox :-)

Hi Rob just redoing my dash on my westy, and have just bought a ETB dash.. quite excited. Where did you get you buttons/switchs from? Did you use stickers for the writing on the dash. What type of fasteners are you using to hold the dash in (4 around the dash in pic)

Lots of questions sorry!

Seem to be stuck in a month of upgrades now :-)
http://www.robcollingridge.com/kitcar/drive/2013/0...

After the paddle shift levers and Barnett clutch upgrade, I found I needed to take the R1 engine out to get the 2nd gear cogs replaced. Whilst the engine is out, I find myself do a complete refresh of the engine bay and replacing a few other things I wasn't entirely happy with.

Have fabricated a new aluminium throttle pedal to replace the Fisher item that was fitted before. It's going to be an expensive month but, I'm now really looking forward to putting it all back together again and going driving soon!

upgrades!!

Took engine out for a refresh over winter, ended up been a pair of cams overbore etc.....was only going to be upgraded oil pump gears, timing chain & rings.

Whilst engine was away decided to change side panels (been on 12 years) ended up been side panels, nose, rear arches.

Roll bar didn't match new colour so that came off for re powder coating.

That made seats look scruffy, two new seats, that made belts look scruffy two new belts.

Mk1 digidash now looks dated, so digidash 2 went in (picked one up second hand so saved a bit)

Moral of story, if your engines ok leave it in.
