Hi All, I've just acquired this from a friend who needed the garage space.
Does anyone recognise the "make",please? It has Morris 1000 running gear.
The chassis is built like a tank, but looks a bit too good for a "home-made".
Since getting it home I've found that it is very difficult to "shoehorn" my
63 year old 6ft+ frame into it so it may be passed on to a smaller enthusiast!!!
Anyone out there looking for a "part-built"??

Daft question, but what's on the V5, does this give you a clue, may also give you an idea as to the vintage ? If it is based on a morris minor then I suspect it is late 60's early 70's.

Not got the V5 yet, it's still in his "filing system!!!" Should have it in a day or two, hopefully!! Must admit that it bears a vague similarity to the one You mentioned!! Looks like it could be quite rare then(??) May be a good investment then, but it will still probably be sold!!
Why didn't I think of this before, I've just checked on the DVLA query site and it's down as a Morris, manufactured 1970, first registered 06-11-1970, so it looks like You may be right!! We shall see!!!

The Kilo was manufactured between 1983 and 1984. I think the car in the picture may be a one-off as the details are very different (think angular and cycle wings). KitCar registration was totally different in the past with many cars retaining the original donor details.

Many thanks for that. Looks like it's even "rarer" than I thought! I've emailed a guy
who's into Morris 1000 conversions to see what He thinks, and await a reply!! Another
picture attached for interest.

Strangely, the guy from the Morris 1000 kit car club seems to
think that it is a KILO!!!

It has an aura of JC Midge, IMHO.

From the windscreen to the back, it looks like a Jego jeep tub.

It does when I look!! Entering "Reg no" and "Morris" brings up the correct entry.
Entering "Reg No" and "Aston Martin" brings up "Vehicle not found"!!
Vehicle has a V5 with all the correct details.
