Hi,

About to have my Marcos interior trimmed and the door cards are held in place by some M4 slotted bolts around the perimiter.

The cards are going to be timmed in black leather and i could get some black M4 bolts to blend in but ideally looking for some sort of bolt head cover for a better finish,

Any ideas or suggestions ?

P.S apologies for photo upside down, ipad issues....

Could you not with a slight re-design incorporate hidden fixings. There are loads available.

Is an automotive pecialist retrimming the cards if so discuss with him how to do it.

I use these:

With a stainless CS screw, they look pretty neat. I have them all over the car, where it's too difficult to hide a screw or bolt head - one of these gives a consistant look.

eg. Aero screen mounts, interior trim, mudguard mounts, even a body panel. With consistent use of the same fastener all over the car, it ties it all together aesthetically.

Number plate screw caps? Come in black (and yellow/white) and should be available from any good motor facfors.

Another way is to enhance them (similar to using the above) by fitting button head allen screws rather than slotted.
