R1 Indy noise limit on track

Does anybody know if a standard R1 airbox will fit under the standard hood of an MK Indy

It will take a lot of fiddling about and a re-work of the bonnet. Better to make up an aluminium airbox.

I have a 5PW R1 and would like to junk the huge airbox ( I actually mean cut a big slice off the top! ) and fit an in line cone air filter before it so I can remove my bonnet bulge. Anyone done this and can offer some advice?
