I've not been able to contact them. No response to emails and nobody answering the phone.

It will be a shame if they have. I can remember the original firm from when they were in Plymouth. Always seemed quite pricy to me, though.

It's Donnington this weekend. Maybe they're tied up preparing for the show?
Just a thought.

Have you spoken to them recently since you started working on the car?

In a similar vein - Total kit car are reporting Sebring (as in Healy inspires cars) are up for sale and Weissman (mental bmw powered 60's lookign rollerscates for the very well heeled, on my lottery list) are in liquidation but still trading - tough times still out there.

Spoke to a lady there on 23/7/13 who said she was in a meeting and to email which I did.
No reply and no response to subsequent mail.

I have also heard that illness has affected Marlin. No doubt Donnington will reveal more details. There is undoubtedly still a lot of lethargy in the UK economy which must affect the Kit car market but there are still some very successful KC makers thriving in the UK. Which is good news. I have always had a high regard for the quality of the Marlin kits which have always seemed to be very well founded and well made. I do hope the company continues.

I'll make a point of looking out for them tomorrow and asking them to contact you.

Thanks.
I've had a look at the Donny web site but it has no list of exibitors so can't even check that.

Indeed... his poor health would help explain some customers' difficulty in getting responses.

I am sure that we all wish him well.

Thanks for the replies.
In the circumstances I have asked the mods to remove this thread.
