Right had my Tiger Supercat on the road for 9 years and it's about time I added a screen.

Why you may ask?
It used to get out on track and the weekend blats. this has changed to Looking at touring Europe and longer weekends away. So lots more miles being added. I want a screen to protect my bonce. save me having to take a Helmet all the time. and with the added side screens better for touring. I really just want to make it less extreme and more old git friendly lol

So other than going second hand via tiger forum (Not a huge amount going on there), Buying brand new from Tiger themselves. Is there any alternatives I can look into

Tiger quality is not the best. and they do seem to want to charge a huge amount for a small piece of alloy frame mount. So any other company's out there that make a screen that may fit's a tiger Supercat or any Tiger owners on here who have a screen, frame, mount and side screens they wish to sell?

Any advice would be great

thanks

Google "Windscreen Engineering" in Birmingham. Ian Foggett is the contact. He can make and glaze one off frames for sensible money.

Am I correct in thinking the Supercat is wider than the standard chassis, and is the screen wider too?

If not I may know of an unused screen, frame and mounts from my old Tiger Cat.

Kevin the Skuttle is the same size. only the front fender and rear tub is bigger to accommodate a larger wheel

Hi RemaL,

Managed to get in contact with the guy who bought my Cat but the car has passed onto another owner now so he doesn't have the car or screen surround any more. Sorry...

Good luck in your search.

You can make a screen by using channel and bending
Standard uprights can be cut using Chris Gibbs book or Ron Champion
Robin Hood screens would fit for not a lot of money
Would recomend getting side screen doors at the same time as this will influence where the screen mounts and make a huge difference when touring

I am starting to take the tiger apart from tonight. I don;t want to sound lazy but if I can't get one secondhand I will be going via tiger just so it's a simple fit and forget

and thanks Camoradi for getting back to me
