MGB Fibreglass shell replacement ?
Discussion
One of the guys at work is looking into building a "new" mgb from a heritage shell and all new parts (like Frontline development I guess).
IIRC there used to be a company making MGB Sebring style composite bodies - in the dim and deep parts of my brain "T6 Developments" come to mind. Can anyone confirm this and the company name and also whether this or similar companies/products exist. Also IIRC it wasn't cheap (similar £ to a heritage shell) but was a quality product.
Thanks in advance.

Not what you were thinking of I'm sure, but these guys are going a grp body conversion which looked very pretty when I saw it at Stoneleigh last year.
Using a Heritage shell gives you the possibility of avoiding IVA (check how Frontline development do it).
If you want to use a composite body will it:
Unless you want a change to the shape (like RPS) you might as well stick with a Heritage shell for the third option.
If you want to use a composite body will it:
- Be a monocoque type structure (like Midas, GTM Libra, etc.)
- Have a separate chassis
- Retain the structural elements of an original MGB shell.
Unless you want a change to the shape (like RPS) you might as well stick with a Heritage shell for the third option.
